"Dead To You" by Chemical Ghost
Chemical Ghost is a duo band started by PK and Chris Chem in 2016. Having worked together to help artist’s with studio time, reference tracks, song writing and music production, the two decided to start their own band. This Producer and Songwriter combo focused on creating their own unique sound, infused with rock, pop, and R&B. Patrice served as Songwriter and Lead vocalist and Chris served as Producer and vocalist.
Chemical Ghost decided to release their first self titled EP in March of 2017. Their mellow vibe quickly sparked a following and the band began to grow on social media. The key was their professional sound and the lyrical quality of their work.
In September of 2017, Chemical Ghost released their second EP titled PIECES and watched it open the door for opportunity. Mainstream artists such as THEY., Azad, Roscoe Dash, Mars Today and Erykah Badu began noticing their work and commending them on their craft. This lead to them landing a distribution deal with Empire Records and a management deal with 5th Seal Management Group.
Dead To You is Chemical Ghost's latest single, and is as densely populated with harmonic intricacies as it is with a truthful urgency that only the fracture of a breakup can induce. Ghost, as usual, pulls out all of the stops. Their music meets at the intersection of confessional, conscious, and tireless via their dedication to tight production and succinct lyricism.
