"Brooklyn Girl" Music Video by Apache Grosse
Apache Grosse is a musician from Phoenix currently living in Chicago. He was recently featured on the Soho House Mixtape and as part of the Soho House Music Showcase.
Much like the work of Johnathan Glazer or Gaspar NoƩ, Apache Grosse's music video for his hit single "Brooklyn Girl" doesn't hold punches in it's cold - but never chaste - depiction of a life too decadent. It paints a deliberate descent into obsession with an omniscient foreboding that casts a chilling spell over the viewer, even in the first moments of the video. "Brooklyn Girl" is a journey into desolation, illustrated by a commanding use of subconscious imagery.
You can listen to the original song in our article from October 17th.
